Together with Poppet (the positive production people), gender equality movement Mavens is hosting a launch event to celebrate the release of their playful yet pertinent new podcast: Mind Your Manners. It's hosted by Mavens' Founder Leah Morris and Creative Director Casey Henderson, and you're cordially invited to join podcast supporters and esteemed guests as they raise a teacup (or Pizzini Prosecco) in celebration.

Featuring episode sneak peeks and perspectives from podcast guests, The Mind Your Manners launch will be hosted at its recording home studio, Brunswick’s Humdinger on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 6.30pm. While this event is free, capacity is strictly limited. Please reserve your ticket via Humantix or Mavens directly to ensure admission.

About 'Mind Your Manners'

Rebelling against traditional ‘ladies etiquette’, the podcast program offers one ‘lesson’ per episode, each featuring a special guest in favour of a more equitable future. The eight-episode series unpacks outdated rituals and behaviours rife within the communications industry; rewriting them one tasteful talk at a time.

Together, Leah and Casey interview producers, ECDs and drag queens about their experiences within advertising, communications and the arts. Peppered with light humour, each guest shares insights into overcoming the unspoken codes of their industry.

Guests include:

  • Rian Difuntorum (aka Aysha Buffet), Fashion Stylist and Performer

  • Georgina Pownall, Managing Partner, By All Means (MBA)

  • Charlotte Adorjan, ECD at Taboo Group / Co-Founder of Woodism

  • Natalie Taylor, Founder & Executive Producer, Poppet

  • Amber Bonney, Founder and CEO, The Edison Agency

  • Jules Stretch, Creative at Remedy & Founder, Queers in Ads

The series was produced by Poppet, the positive production people crafting commercials, documentaries and content for some of Australia's biggest brands. Recordings were facilitated by Humdinger, an award-winning team specialising in creative concepts to roll out for video and audio productions. Tristan Dewey of Bang Bang Studios composed the Mind Your Manners mnemonic. The program’s presenting partners are no sunday blues, 3P Studio and Northside Casting

Mind Your Manners will be available to stream from on Apple Podcasts and Spotify from 19 August.
